Samantha & Drayton’s Florida Wedding at La Finka

From the moment I arrived at La Finka, there was an instant feeling of awe that came from seeing this hidden wedding gem in Florida. There was an obvious significance to the day and the years leading up to their wedding day.

Samantha & Drayton had started dating on November 4th and had been together for 8 years.

What’s even more special is their engagement fell on November 4th. The happy couple decided to have their Florida Wedding on November 4th because the 4th meant so much to them. Both Samantha and Drayton’s mothers passed away so when they read the number 444 stated in angel numbers that your guardians are watching over you, they knew this was the perfect wedding date.

The Venue: A Modern Beauty

The house itself is a modern oasis, with luxury vibes throughout which was exactly what Samantha & Drayton fell in love with. A contemporary, simple yet timeless venue.

The day of the shoot started off with clear skies and a soft breeze, creating the perfect lighting. The girls got ready in the main house while the guys got ready in the groom suit across the way. The natural light coming in from the windows made for picture perfect portraits.

My Favorite Moments

One of the most memorable parts of the day was when Samantha and Drayton shared a quiet first look in front of the jaw dropping arch. Drayton’s reaction was one to never forget. Afterwards, the happy couple went back for family portraits in front of the main home.

Later in the evening, the ceremony started and you could feel a sense of peace as everyone lined up, including Samantha, to walk down to isle. You could feel the overwhelming joy and love fill the air as Samantha walked down with her dad. As a result, this ceremony revealed so many emotions and laughter as the two tied the knot and said “I DO”.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks from The Tipsy Trotter and dinner by Olive Garden. To end the night, the happy couple danced the night away.
